    Description:
We get the following in trying to "cat" the service pack:

    aleph-a16(2) >> cat ALEPH-16\[1].02-ServicePack-1-1891.tar.gz | gzip -d | tar xvf -
    x ./sp.tar, 147025920 bytes, 287160 tape blocks
tar: ./sp.tar: HELP - extract write error

    Resolution:
df -k showed that the filesystem was full. After making space on the disk, the cat produced the expected result:

    x ./sp.tar, 147025920 bytes, 287160 tape blocks
    x ./sp.install, 19558 bytes, 39 tape blocks
    x ./gnu_tar, 433695 bytes, 848 tape blocks
