    Description:
The Sort Report By dropdown list for cir-06 displays:
    ADM Record number
    Patron ID
    Title
    Location
    Patron Name
    Patron Barcode
    Hold Date
    Call Number

Online help for this field states "items may be sorted by ADM Record Number, Patron ID, Title, Location, Patron Name, Patron Barcode, Hold Date, Call Number or other library-defined option.".

    Questions:
    1. Where are library-defined options configured?
    2. How does cir-06 determine call number sorting?
    3. /pc_b_eng/p-cir-06.xml displays CN as the code value for Call Number. What does CN refer to? Is it hardcoded? Note that CN isn't defined in /nsw50/tab or nsw01/tab/tab_sort or tab_z30_sort or in usm equivalent tables.

    Resolution:
Hold Shelf Report (cir-06) - Sort options

Online help for this field states "items may be sorted by ADM Record Number, Patron ID, Title, Location, Patron Name, Patron Barcode, Hold Date, Call Number or other library-defined option.".

    1) The values for the sorting come from p-cir-06.xml in alephe/pc_b_eng. The treatment for all non-numeric sort options (e.g. CN, ID, NM or AD) is hardcoded in the program. All numeric sort options use z101 and are configurable via xxx01/tab/tab_sort (run p-manage-27 after changing this table).
    2) The call number sorting is determined by Z30-CALL-NO-KEY
    3) The value CN relates to sorting by CALL-NO and the treatment is hardcoded in the program.
