    Description

The creation/deletion of a hold request in Primo does not create a circulation log record (z309) in Aleph.

    Resolution

    Corrected by v22 rep_change 2064 and v23 rep_change 2368:

Now the creation and deletion of a hold request through theDLF service creates a log record.

This functionality is based on the definition in tab_circ_log.lng for transaction numbers 71 and 73.

Note:  For some reason I can't quite put my finger on, I found that at one v22 site -- despite the fact that the "ver" command showed:  "Aleph 22.1.3 (2230)" -- which should include rep_change 2064 -- , their ./dlf_service/dlf_create_item_hold program lacked the lines for this function seen in the il-aleph20 (222) server.   Adding them made the program function properly.   See SF Case 00700804 for details.
