    How to change Oracle passwords

    Desired Outcome Goal:
    Oracle passwords used by application should be changed

    Procedure:
    1. Dlib to any Aleph library
    2. Perform util y/8/1 (Update Oracle Passwords of ALEPH Users (ora_passwd)) for every user that you would like to change:

    Example:
    Enter User Name:xxx01
    Enter New Password:xxx01
    Do you want to update this password in ALEPH Password file ([n]/y)? y
    The password for XXX01 was saved in ALEPH password file
    If you want to update this password in Oracle
    Enter ALEPH_DBA user/passwd, or press [Enter] to exit :xxx/xxx
    Change passwd in Oracle

    Additional Information

    Oracle users "sys" and "system" are not used by application. Therefore passwords for theses users are not needed to be stored in "ALEPH Password file".
    In order to activate a new aleph_admin passwd, a restart of the servers (pc_server, etc.) and batch queues is required.
