    How to configure Hold requests period ("To-date")

    Desired Outcome Goal:
    Understand how to configure the default "from date" and "to date" ("last interest date") parameters, for the GUI and the Web.

    Procedure:
    1. To set the default "End Date" ...

    For GUI: set parameter in $alephe_root/pc_server_defaults: setenv pc_z37_date_to

    For Web: set parameter in $alephe_root/www_server.conf: setenv www_z37_date_to

    2. Restart pc server and/or www server.

    Additional Information

    The default "From Date" which appears in the GUI Create Hold Request screen and the Web screen is hardcoded as today's date + 1.

    Examples:

    The following in pc_server_defaults entry yields a 6 month interest date in the GUI:

    setenv pc_z37_date_to M006

    and the following in ./www_server.conf yields a 2 month date in the Web:

    setenv www_z37_date_to M002

    The following will be a 7 day interest date in GUI:

    setenv pc_z37_date_to D007


    and the following, 7 days in the Web:

    setenv www_z37_date_to D007
