How to install ImageMagick

Description
Since August 2025 ImageMagick is no longer delivered as 3rd party tool through the Third Party Installation (SP 6 - 10).
If you have used ImageMagick in the past, e.g. to display ADAM objects, follow the instructions below to install ImageMagick as part of the operating system.
Resolution
A. for existing installations:
- install ImageMagick
ImageMagick is now available from EPEL repository.
For more details about how to use EPEL, please refer to How to use Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux (EPEL)?.
Package full name (with architecture) is ImageMagick.x86_64 but the short name is enough for installation as the default is 64 bit packages.
- delete the existing softlink from $aleph_product/local
rm im
lrwxrwxrwx 1 aleph exlibris 38 Aug 16 2023 im -> /exlibris/product/ImageMagick-6.6.1-10/
B. for new installation
Follow instructions as described under A.1
