    Question

How to load Item records created by manage-500 (Create Holdings and Item Records Using Bibliographic Data - Enhanced )?

    Answer

    1) Select "Create an output file" as Item Creation mode, for the item records to be stored in the output file named "b_manage_500.d2.out" (under .xxx01/scratch).
    2) The ADM record will be stored in output file b_manage_500.d.1.out
    3) If the ADM does not already exist for this XXX50 library, copy b_manage_500.d.1.out to .xxx50/scratch, and load it with p-manage-18 in XXX50 (select option "Add new records).
    4) Copy b_manage_500.d2.out to .xxx50/files, and rename it to "z30.seqaa".
    5) Run file-04 in USM50 with parameters: "z30,Append, FIX".
