    Description:
How to make CATALOGER holds take effect immediately?

We find that the hold is being generated, but it is only on the following day that we see it.

    Resolution:
You need to change the circ_cataloger_request_date in pc_server_defaults to zero:

    circ_cataloger_request_date 000

    (and restart the pc_server).

The default setting of "001" means that the hold will not be in effect until the following day.
