    Question
How to set the redirection when accessing http://<WWW_HOST>:<HTTPD_PORT> in Aleph.
In Aleph, accessing the URL http://<WWW_HOST>:<HTTPD_PORT> will generally redirect you to the OPAC at http://<WWW_HOST>:<HTTPD_PORT>/F.

    Answer
If there is a need to change the redirection URL, the exact configuration is done in a hidden file called .index.html, found in the apch ($alephe_root/apache/htdocs) directory.
After making changes to this file, Apache must be restarted for the changes to take effect.

Note:  The $alephe_root/aleph_start   "setenv    WWW_HOST"  and the $alephe_root/www_server.conf  "setenv server_httpd" parameters may also come into play.
