    Description:
How do I set up a fine that is computed *NOT* hourly, but by the day, so that the fixed charge is applied regardless of the time of day the item is returned. I wish to apply a charge of $1.00. The system is interpreting this as $1.00 over a 24 hour period.

    Resolution:
I see tab16 lines which have a non-zero value in column 6 (indicating a daily loan), but which have "E" as the Fine method in tab16 column 14. "E" is "include recall - behaves like type 3 (total-hours)".

When the number of days in column 6 is greater than zero (00000000), the fine method should *not* be "E", but rather "7" (total days).

[Note: Changing these lines corrected the problem.]
