    Description:
Our System Librarian is leaving us. She showed me some of the jobs she does both daily and weekly.

The job_list has both p_cir_06 and a cash job in which she has to change the numbers daily.

Literally go in and change the dates for sun-thurs for p_cir_06.

With cash, she has to do this weekly.

My question, is there a process that does this automatically or do i have to write my own script in order for that to happen. It seems tedious to have to do this every single day.

    Resolution:
As described in KB 3169, you can enter today's date in job_list as a variable ("%DATE") -- rather than a hard-coded date. You can also specify the date as an offset from today, such as
"%DATE+D007", which means 7 days later than the date the job is being run.
