Description:
We would like to split the media types in our media collection so that videos, scores, recordings and some other media can be isolated in reports, shelf reading, etc.

For example - all the videos in MEDIA would get moved to new collection VIDEO (or some such designation)

The designation "MEDIA" is in the 852 holding record, and the material type DVD or VIDCA are in tab25.

Resolution:
(Note: Since the abc01 X852-ITEM-OVERRIDE is set to "Y" and the X852-ITEM-OVERRIDE-C is, by default, set to "Y", this change must be made through the HOL record: updating the item record directly will *not* work.)

1. Run p_ret_adm_01 in ABC50 to get the record numbers of items with z30_material DVD or VIDCA

2. Use the output from step 1 as input to p_manage_70 (in ABC50), specifying "Item-to-hol" as the Convert Type.

3. Use the output from step 2 as input to p_manage_21 in the ABC60 library. Specify that you want 852 $$cMEDIA changed to $$cVIDEO .

As described in KB 8192-1703, the propagation of this HOL record change to the associated item records is performed by the abc60 ue_01.
