    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type:  Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

    Description

Identical index entries for call number are displayed in two lines in the headings list

    Example:

    Record 1

    ABC   L $$2A 46155$$hSIG123$$zBERF$$cBERFM$$sB

    Record 2
    ABC   L $$2SIG123$$hZBG IV 7045-11$$zBERL$$cBERLM$$sE

In the index list each call number is displayed on own line.

    Resolution

In the filing routine for index „call number“ which can be found in xxx01/tab/tab00.lng, column 5 and which is set in xxx01/tab/tab_filing parameter del_subfield should be added in order to delete the subfield sign.

The normalized text should look like this:

    02 z01_normalized_text .....$$-SGT123

Currently the normalized text for above example looks like...

    02 z01_normalized_text .....$$2SIG123

    02 z01_normalized_text .....$$hSIG123

... which results in 2 different index entries.
