    Desired Outcome Goal:
    Load records converted by MarcEdit from an Excel file into Aleph

    Procedure:
    * The records should be in "MARC file" format.

    * Place file in xxx01 $data_scratch directory on server

    * Run file-01 ("Convert MARC Records - Step 1) ,
    file-02 ("Convert MARC Records - Step 2"), and
    manage-18 ("Load ALEPH Sequential MARC Records")

    * Jobs can be submitted either via the GUI Services or the command line. See below.

    Additional Information

    Instead of using Aleph Importing Records, use GUI Batch Services.

    The following Command line commands can be used:

    csh -f $aleph_proc/p_file_01 XXX01,wb_journals_008.mrc,wb_journals1,04 > & xxx01_p_file_01.0825.log &
    csh -f $aleph_proc/p_file_02 XXX01,wb_journals1,wb_journals2,01 > & xxx01_p_file_02.0825.log &
    csh -f $aleph_proc/p_manage_18 XXX01,wb_journals2,wb_journals18.rej,wb_journals18.log,NEW,,,FULL,APP,M,,,, > & xxx01_p_manage_18.0825.log &
