    Question

Is a server is scheduled to restart automatically at night?

    Answer

Servers can be restarted either through (1) the Unix crontab or (2) the $alephe_tab/job_list.

    1. crontabs can be viewed with the "crontab -l" command. (To see the root crontab one needs to be user "root ".)

    2. "cd $alephe_tab" to view the job_list. As described in KCS Article # 1845, Restart Servers from job_list (https://exlibrisgroup.my.salesforce.com/articles/How_To/Restart-Servers-from-joblist), "server_monitor -tks" and p_sys_01 are the relevant lines.
