The following comment appears in the Due Date column in the GUI Items List and in the OPAC: "Expected on 2/13/06." But the item is *not* on loan.

    Resolution:
The $alephe_error_eng/circ_status_holding message 8002 -- which is delivered with the text "Expected on $1" -- occurs when an Issue item has a non-zero z30_expected_arrival_date, that is, a serial item is in a state of Expected, rather than Arrived. It has nothing to do with on-loan / not-on-loan.

Below are two items. The first one doesn't display the "Expected on", the second does.

The one which doesn't display the "Expected on" has this:
    02 z30_expected_arrival_date ...00000000
    02 z30_arrival_date ............20141017

The one which does display the "Expected on" has this:
    02 z30_expected_arrival_date ...20150214
    02 z30_arrival_date ............00000000

When a serial item is properly checked in, the z30_expected_arrival_date is set to zero and the z30_arrival_date is populated with the date of the check-in.
