    Job daemon won't start; "No jobs in file"

    Problem Symptoms:
    *util e/15/3 shows that the job daemon is not running.
    *When using util e/15/1 to activate job daemon, there is no error message, but util e/15/3 still shows no job daemon running.
    *The $alephe_scratch/jobd.log has the message "No jobs in file".

    Cause:
    $alephe_tab/job_list file is empty or all the jobs are commented out.

    Resolution:
    Check the $alephe_tab/job_list file for jobs that are commented out and make sure there are jobs that can run.
