    Description:
Does a value of 999 in tab16, column 12, indicate unlimited loans? Does a value of 999 in column 13 indicate unlimited hold requests?

    Resolution:
A value of 999 in tab16, column 12, indicates an unlimited number of loans. (Or omitting certain checks will result in unlimited loans: at ADM-library / borrower status level, omit the check_circ_4_c line from tab_check_circ; at the sublibrary / borrower status level, omit the check_circ_4_b; at the sublibrary / borrower status / item status level, omit the check_circ_4_a. )

"999" acts as unlimited; the highest value you can actually limit users to is "998".

Similarly, "999" in tab16, column 13 indicates unlimited requests. (Or you can omit check_hold_request_h from tab_hold_request.)
