    Description:
You see the following messages at the end of a batch job: xxxnn is not in MESSAGE_STARTUP_LIBS and xxxnn is not in REQUEST_STARTUP_LIBS (where "xxxnn" is a library such as USM01)

    Resolution:
Some batch jobs stop the ue_nn processes for the library they are running in. Upon completion they will restart these processes.

In deciding whether to restart the ue_11 process, the programs look at the setenv MESSAGE_STARTUP_LIBS value in alephe/aleph_start and ./aleph_start.private. If a library is listed, the progam starts it; if it isn't, the program issues this message.

ue_11 runs in one library only: the $z105_library and the "... not in MESSAGE_STARTUP_LIBS" message is normal if the library is not the $z105_library.

Note: To see what the $z105_library is at your site do: "echo $z105_library".

Likewise, in deciding to start the ue_06 process, the programs look at the setenv REQUEST_STARTUP_LIBS value in alephe/aleph_start and ./aleph_start.private.

ue_06 runs in ADM libraries only and the "not in REQUEST_STARTUP_LIBS" message is normal if the library is not an ADM library.

    Additional Information

    daemons, REQUEST_STARTUP_LIBS
