Missing error message 1120 in www_f_eng

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 18.01

    Description:
Can you send along the text for this error 1120?.

We are trying to implement inter-campus holds - so that a user is able to place an on-the-shelf hold or recall an item belonging to on one campus and have it pickedup at the other campus (we have only 2).

Th error occurs when a user is attempting to place a hold on a sinlge item that already had a "on the shelf hold" placed, but _before_ it has been discharged from the home libary. The error contunies at each stage - discharged and in-transit, recieved and on the hold shelf. When the item is finally out, the second borrower can finally place their hold and chose in which campus they wish to pick it up.

    According to tab_hold request:

    ! c : if tab15 col.12=Y, the item can have 1120 PRE,POST,CIRC
    ! only one request

We have ours set to N.

Update: the error message does not occur once we removed POST check_hold_request_c

but we would still like the text for error 1120...

    Resolution:
    A grep in $alelph_root/error_eng/ shows:

    il-aleph02-a18(1) >>grep 1120 *
check_hold_request:1120 L This item has a request, and is allowed only a single request.
pc_cir_c0419:1120 0010 L This item already has a request, and is allowed only a single request.
pc_cir_c0421:1120 0000 L This item has already been requested, and is allowed only a single request.
pc_cir_c0425:1120 0000 L This item has already been requested, and is allowed only a single request.
pc_cir_c0471:1120 0000 L This item has already been requested, and is allowed only a single request.
www_heading:1120 L This item already has a request, and is allowed only a single request.

Does that seem like the case here too?

It seems that 1120 needs to be added to www_f_heading with similar text.
