    Question

Why did adding new subfields to field 100#2 and restarting PC server not change the display of field 100#2?

    ./xxx01/tab/edit_field.lng
    1 # 100#2 E -9
    2 a
    2 p
    2 n A ,^
    2 c A ,^
    2 d A ,^
    2 b ^

    Answer

The new line was added at the end of ./xxx/tab/edit_field.lng after the general entry for all fields. Every field is handled only once in the table and the table is executed from top to bottom. So new lines should never be placed after the general line.

Incorrect, field 100#2 is already handled from the general entry and entry for 100#2 will not be considered:
    1 # ##### #
    2 # A ^
    !
    1 # 100#2 E -9
    2 a
    2 p
    2 n A ,^
    2 c A ,^
    2 d A ,^
    2 b ^

Correct, field 100#2 will be considered:
    1 # 100#2 E -9
    2 a
    2 p
    2 n A ,^
    2 c A ,^
    2 d A ,^
    2 b ^
    !
    1 # ##### #
    2 # A ^

    Additional Information

    Example is from MAB environment
