At the University of Notre Dame we're preparing to implement ALEPH version 20. In Service Pack No. 20.1.1 rep changes 2262-2417, rep change 2313 deals with moving HOL records from one BIB record to another by using drag and drop in the cataloging overview tree. We implemented the changes required for the rep change, however, we are still unable to move holding records in the overview tree but we can move item, order and subscription records. The ALEPH 20 User Guide - Cataloging, page 109 describes moving records in the overview tree.

Is anyone using this functionality, is there a step that we have missed?

Moving HOLs with items to another BIB works for us in version 19 (no unlinking required).

Is your XXX01 tab_move_record setup correctly?

It needs this line:

HOL BIB move_hol_items_to_bib

I _think_ you also need to set permission to move the HOL in your XXX60 library.
