    Question

Is there a limit to how many records can be saved under My Basket and My e-Shelf in the Web OPAC? Where Are My Basket And e-Shelf Limits Defined?

    Answer

    • My Basket and My e-Shelf limit is defined by parameter setenv www_myeshelf_limit in ./alephe/www_server.conf.
    • The maximum number of records as well as the default number is 500.

    Additional Information

This is from the Aleph v22 System Librarian's Guide - Web OPAC, Chapter 22 (Setting up My e-Shelf) :
Each folder (including the BASKET folder) can contain a maximum of 500 records.
You can define the maximum number of records allowed in a folder by setting the
www_myeshelf_limit environment variable in the www_server.conf file.
If the variable is not defined, the default for the maximum records in each folder is
    500 records.
