    Description:
We have created 2 new collection codes, ABCD and ABCTH. They are defined in tab40.eng and are showing up in the collection drop-down in the item record. They have also been defined in tab_z30, but when records are sent through the OCLC server into ALEPH, no holdings or items are created.

    Resolution:
The article "Adding new collection code" discusses the tables which need to be updated when a collection is added.

In this case, the oclc_server log had this message:

"Record processing failed - Missing shelflist code ABCD in tab_mapping"

The error occurred even after adding the codes to the abc01 tab_mapping; they also needed to be added to the *abc50* tab_mapping.

The following error might also occur: "Record processing failed - Missing shelflist code SERD in tab_loader" -- indicating the need to add the codes to tab_loader and tab_loader_def.
