Description:
I made a new password called ??? but it cannot catalog.
I added the user to permission.dat via the tables navigator. It has permissions to catalog.
Why can't it catalog?

Resolution:
After any file in the directory pc_tab/catalog is changed UTIL-M-7 must be run. If you prefer not to enter the server you may run util M 7 via the
Cataloging Module services. Choose Services > General > Update Tables Package (in v16).
