    Description:
Some adjustments have been made to our z39.50 configuration in the past few months. We are no longer getting 852 data in records retrieved via z39.50. I have looked at abc01/tab/tab_expand and added the line Z39_SERVER expand_doc_bib_loc_disp, stopped/started the z39.50 server, but I still only get call numbers for about 20% of the records I retrieve (same as before I changed tab_expand). Should I be using a different expand routine?

    Resolution:
expand_doc_bib_loc_disp generates a LOC field, and I think you are looking for actual MARC tags for inclusion in the BIb record. expand_doc_bib_hol should do what you want. This will embed basically all of the MARC tags from the Holdings record - including the 008. If you only want to include the 852 tag, then you can add the string 852## to column 3 of the line in tab_expand:

    Z39_SERVER expand_doc_bib_hol 852##
