    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

    Description
    DNS http://xxxx.exlibrisgroup.com:8992 (without the "/F") is being directed to the wrong server (the Test server). DNS http://xxxx.exlibrisgroup.com:8992/F (with the "/F") is redirected properly.

    As described in Article "How to set the redirection when accessing http://<WWW_HOST>:<HTTPD_PORT> in Aleph",  the relevant file is $httpd_root/htdocs/.index.html. The file's relevant line is:

    var loc = "http://yyyy.exlibrisgroup.com/F?RN="+session;

    Resolution:
    This URL needs to point to the OPAC server (the server where the www_server is running for this particular Aleph instance) -- in this case, http://xxxx.exlibrisgroup.com/F .
