    Question

When adding question/answer during registration of a new patron in order to be able to reset the password where is the information saved?

    Answer

Question and answer are saved in Z308 record, field Z308-verification:

DESC: Additional identification for the patron. This can be identical to the Z308-KEY-DATA. If the Z308-KEY-TYPE is set to 77, this field is used for the password bypass mechanism and it contains the question code (taken from the values assigned to the questions in the registration Web file) and the answer given by the patron. For example, if the value assigned to “Your eye color” is 01, and the answer given by the patron is
“green”, then the structure of this field is as follows: 01-green.

    Example:
enter file name (or q to exit) z308
    new key = K, exit = Q, continue = RETURN
    k
    key 1 = 1 (default), key 2 = 2
    1
    enter start Z308 key (YYXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX)
    77369

    01 z308 \
    02 z308_rec_key \
    03 key_type ...............77
    03 key_data ...............369
    03 user_library ...........
    02 z308_verification ........01-green
    02 z308_verification_type ...00
    02 z308_id ..................369
    02 z308_status ..............AC
    02 z308_encryption ..........H
    02 z308_upd_time_stamp ......201411070954573
    new key = K, exit = Q, continue = RETURN

Unfortunately question/answer can't be changed once they are set.
