What are the implications of "ORA-00060: Deadlock detected"-messages in Oracle alert log?
Answer
In such a case two Oracle processes are blocking each other. Oracle will rollback the changes and the consistency of the data is not in risk.
You can safely ignore such messages as long they occur sporadically.
