    ORA-0600 errors for Z115

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    Description:
We have been observing occasional ORA-00600 internal error code errors since we upgraded to Aleph Version 20 / Oracle 11g. Trace files indicate that the error occurs when something in the Aleph application performs a 'select * from Z115' query. Submitting the same query from the SQLPLUS client does not produce the error message.

Since our Z115 table contains 0 rows, can we simply drop the table? Z115 is not included in the "Collected Oracle Tables - Version 20" document.

    Resolution:
We see in the $aleph_root/tab/file_list.USR that the z115 table can be in the $usr_library.

As described in KB's 29551 and 4773, the z115 (data changes requests) is relevant only for German consortia with non-Aleph local systems. Other sites do not need the z115 table.
