    Description:
Oracle doesn't start when we reboot the server. Why?

    Resolution:
Note: If there is an "Oracle person" at your site, that person should be handling this....

    1. Do util o/1/3 ("Show running Oracle server") to verify that Oracle is not running.

    2. Do util o/1/1 to Activate Oracle server. If Oracle starts OK, that indicates that there is nothing wrong with Oracle and that automatic startup may be disabled.

In this case, this line in the /exlibris/startup/init.dat file was commented out:

    Y:oracle:oracle:/exlibris/app/oracle/product/920

Uncommenting it caused Oracle to be started on reboot.
