    Description:
A patron checked out two items on the same day. They got the same due date, and, when they became overdue, their overdue notices were printed on the same day. But yesterday an overdue notice was produced for one of the items (two days ahead of schedule) while the other did not have a notice produced.

Does requesting an item change the notice schedule?

    [ <Jerry Specht > ]

    Resolution:
The number of days between overdue notices is controlled by the ./xxx50/tab/tab32.

For non-requested items, column 5 has the number days between each notice; for requested items, column *6* is used instead.

Note: If the overdue notice is produced later than it should be based on column 6, check the date of the hold request (in the z35 or z37). It is only after the hold request is in place that column 6 will be in effect.

    Additional Information
