    Question

We have defined a patron sub-library of type 2 and we cannot assign the staff permission for this sub-library. Is it possible?

    Answer

No, you can assign staff permissions on the sub-library level only for sub-libraries defined as type "1" or "4", so you cannot set a permission for a sub-library of type "2". This is how the system works.

When you need to limit permissions on the sub-library level, you can redefine the patron sub-library to type "1" or "4". This is configurable in $alephe_tab/tab_sub_library.lng, col.2.
