    Description:
Trying to set up a course, the period box in the GUI is greyed out, though the drop-down box has the check boxes for periods, but no matter which 'period we select, we get an error message.

    pc_tab_exp_field.eng has these lines,
    COURSE-PERIOD L Fall Fall
    COURSE-PERIOD L Winter Winter
    COURSE-PERIOD L Spring Spring
    COURSE-PERIOD L Summer Summer
    COURSE-PERIOD L Yearly Yearly
    COURSE-PERIOD L Not Active NA

When choosing a period in the GUI we get the error "Period must be entered."

What else do we have to do with 'period'?

    Resolution:
The period text on the left-hand side of the box is always greyed out since it can never be updated directly, only via the checkbox.

After checking the appropriate boxes in the dropdown and before clicking “Add”, you need to click on the checkmark at the bottom left of the dropdown. This checkmark functions as an “OK” button.

    See attached screenprint.
