    Desired Outcome Goal:
Prevent patron from renewing items if overdue letters have been received

    Procedure:

    1. To prevent renewal if any overdue notices have been received, add the check procedure check_circ_8_b to ./xxx50/tab/tab_check_circ (in section RENEW-WWW for OPAC renewal, section RENEW for GUI renewal, section RENEW-PRE for Primo).

    2. To prevent renewal if n or more overdue notices have been received -- where n is the value specified in the ./xxx50/tab/tab100 OVERDUE-LETTER-NO parameter --, add the check procedure check_circ_1_d to ./xxx50/tab/tab_check_circ (in section RENEW-WWW for OPAC renewal, section RENEW for GUI renewal, section RENEW-PRE for Primo).

    3. Restart the www_server, pc_server, and the Web Services server (jboss).
