For one document type (one particular item status), is it possible to prevent renewal via the Web, but still accept renewal done with the GUI ?

Resolution:
The tab_check_circ has a "RENEW-WWW" label, but the checks you specify would apply to *all* item statuses, not just this particular status -- so I don't think it will work for your purpose.

You might try tab16, col. 21, "Maximum renewals". It may be if you set this to "00" for this item status, it will prevent Web renewal but allow the staff to override the block in the GUI. I suggest you try this.
