Print templates not being updated on workstation as expected

I have updated some print templates (circulation notices and acq order lists) that live in the ABC01/form_eng directory.

After I rebuild the print package using Util-i-6 from the ABC01 library, I open the circulation module to refresh the templates on my machine. However, it doesn't update the files on my workstation if the Circ or Acq modules are opened - it *does* update the files if Cataloging is opened.

I understand why this might be the case as the print templates live in the ABC01 library. Unfortunately, our circulation folks rarely open the cataloging module and still need to get these refreshed on their workstations. In version 16, I could open the circulation module and get these refreshed templates.

Do you have any suggestions on how to be sure the templates refresh on our workstations properly?

KB 8192-7928 is a comprehensive discussion of this topic.

Please, especially, compare the date/size of the .\ALEPHCOM\files\ABC50\PrintTemplates\eng\html.pck file on the pc to that in the form_eng directory on the server.

And compare the date/size of the specific .\ALEPHCOM\files\ABC50\PrintTemplates\eng\ file on your pc to that in the form_eng.

As a test, you may want to try deleting *all* of the .\ALEPHCOM\files\ABC50\PrintTemplates\eng\ files from a particular pc. And then connect it to ABC50 with either Acq or Circ.
