    Description:
We need to re index after changing our reserves records for the new semester. How do I do this, and what effect will it have on the running library?

    Resolution:
Full reindexing requires running the jobs listed in the "Typical Job Sequence for Course Reading Library", in section 2.4 of the "How To Run Index Jobs" document. (See Doc Portal.)

The indexing jobs lock the library and should be run when the library is not in use.

These jobs run very fast -- 5-20 minutes -- since Course Reserve libraries are typically quite small.
