    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

    Problem Symptoms:
The annual process of deleting users without activity has accidentally erased the record of a user and a new user with a different barcode was created.  Is it possible to recover the loan history of the old user and record it for the new user?

    Cause:
Inactivity of the user caused automatic deletion of the user

    Resolution:
No, there is no way to move loan history from one patron to another in the application.

    Additional Information
    Suggested workaround:
If you have not used Service 'p-cir-32 (Remove Patron IDs) for z36h records, they should be still available.

The best option would be to re-create the new patron with the identical (old) Patron ID. Then he/she should be able to see the old history again.
