    Desired Outcome Goal:
    * The ARC version was moved to a new server
    How can the COGNOS encryption keys be recreated to run the version on the new server?

    Procedure:
    When do you have recreate the COGNOS encryption keys?
    A. When changing server OS/Machine/IP/hostname or Java version (including build number) new encryption keys should be recreated:
    B. When ARC fails to start due to encryption issues you have to recreate to encryption keys.

    1. cd configuration
    2.a restore latest cogstartup.xml backup file
    or
    2.b use the template cogstartup.xml.tml and adapt @xxxx@ variables
    3. rm -rf signkeypair/ encryptkeypair/ certs/ csk/ caSerial
    4. start up ARC
