Description:
We're getting reports of problems and we're going to delay installing any service packs until the July one where we don't have to reinstall the client.

Resolution:
Minor releases (such as the August) will no longer require reinstallation of the GUI, but there will still be the downloading the new .exe files via Version Check -- just as there has been with the Service Packs.

Thus, with respect to the GUI .exe files, the August Minor Release will require exactly the same procedures as the May Service Pack. (I do see some changes to the sp_files procedures, with a "merge mode".)

It is incorrect to think that by skipping the May Service Pack you will somehow make things easier.
