    Problem Symptoms:
With the special routine UE11-G in xxx01/tab/tab_merge
    UE11-G merge_doc_overlay 98
it should be possible to add fields from redirected local record to the new record which also have EXP field.

But the local field EXP from the old record is not added to the new record.

    Cause:
There is a wrong definition in xxx01/tab/tab_merge_overlay for routine 98

    Resolution:
Change the entries for field EXP in xxx01/tab/tab_merge_overlay from
    98 2 C EXP##
    to
    98 2 Y EXP##
The EXP field from the old record will be transferred to the new record.
The column 3 must be set to Y, because in the new record there is also a field EXP.
If you want to add also all EXP fields regardless if there is already one in the new record you have to add "Y" instead of "C".

    Additional Information

This is only relevant for local libraries in a German or Austrian MAB environment working with an Aleph consortia.
