Same (too short) due date always used for particular item or item status

    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type: All

    Description:

The due date for a particular item (or items of a particular item status) is always the same (too short) (such as 3:00 prm or 5:00 pm that same day) – even when the z30_item_status is changed to a week-loan status.

    Resolution:

The pc_cir_c0441 program checks to see if the item has an xxx50 z321 (Advance Booking) record, and, if so, calls the pc_cir_short_loan program which uses different logic than the regular pc_cir_c0441 program in assigning the due date.

This item had an xxx50 z321 record.; an item which does not have a z321 record, should give the expected due date.

Note:  the xxx50 tab43 (“Reserved Items Schedule”) controls which item-statuses Advance Booking is used for.
