    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 21

    Problem Symptoms:
    After upgrading to version 22, in doing "2. Download latest SP", the Service Pack utility shows "ver20_sp" as the user and "/exlibris/aleph/a20_1/alephm/scratch/sp" directory when this is a v22 instance.
    [Note: though the user and directory shown would be different, the same could apply to an upgrade to *any* version.]

    Cause:
    "Prepare/Update Environment" not performed.

    Resolution:
    Select (Prepare/Update Environment) ->
    2. FTP settings -- and when it prompts you for "FTP user for SP download", change it to ver22sp [or the correct value for your version]
    then, select:
    "3. SP Download directory" from the util sp menu.
    And paste in "/exlibris/aleph/a22_1/alephm/scratch/sp", press Enter,
    and re-run the "2. Download latest SP" step.
