    Question

The Aleph Configuration for ARC 3.0, Appendix D, mentions utility clear_arc (util x/11) for BIB and USR library.
Should clear_arc be set also for ADM libraries in a multi-ADM environment?

    Answer

No, the ETL process (arc_01) clears the z900 for ADM at the end of the process.

    Additional Information

When ETL last parameter is N (default), the z900 is also cleared from BIB and USR.
For multi-ADM environments, the last ETL parameter is Y, and z900 is only removed from the ADM.
It should be removed from BIB and USR by util x/11 or by the clear_arc job, after ETL has run for all the ADMs.
