Description:
Our sys admins would like to upgrade Solaris 10 on our Aleph servers to Update 4 (aka Solaris 10 8/07). Is this a supported level?

We are not testing each patch level with all products, but it's our usual recommendation to use the latest OS patch level. We have never had any problem with this practice.

If you have reason to believe that this patch is one which could be questionable, you may want to query the SysAdmin list to see if other sites have applied it and are OK.
