    Question

    Why are subfields sorted in order “e, n, d, c” in GUI client full view but in ./xxx01/tab/edit_field.lng they are in sort order e, n, c, d (c and d the other way round)

    Answer

    In .xxx01/tab/edit_field.lng column 5 is not set which means that subfields are not sorted according to edit_field. If you want them to be sorted according to order in edit_field.lng add “B” in column 5

    See also header of edit_field.lng
    ! COL 5. 1; ALPHA {A,B} ;;
    ! Filter;
    ! A or blank - filters for subfields, but does not change
    ! their order
    ! B - filters for subfields and sets their order;
