Question

Which table do I need to edit to change the order of MARC fields as they appear in the record editor of the Cataloguing GUI?

Answer

The order of fields is defined the following way:

(1) For Full view in xxx01/tab/edit_doc_999.eng
(2) For the cataloging record and MARC tag view in xxx01/tab/tab01.eng

The setting for (2) works in conjunction with the following parameter in xxx01/tab/tab_fix:

INS   fix_doc_sort

Please note that for (2) the records must be reindexed after modifiying the order to apply the new order.
