UE: install customer data: unique constraint (ABC01.Z00_ID) violated

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    Description:
We are running Upgrade Express on our new Production v20 server.

We're doing “Install customer data” (option 1 Install Oracle data) and have the following messages in the install u-tree log (this is just one example of a record):

    /exlibris/aleph/upgrade_express_1901_2001/logs/log
    Column 1 000206420
    Column 2 48
    Column 3 1761
    Column 4 0008FMT LBK0030LDR L01098cam--2200325-i-45000015...
IMP-00019: row rejected due to ORACLE error 1
    IMP-00003: ORACLE error 1 encountered
    ORA-00001: unique constraint (ABC01.Z00_ID) violated

Do we need to address this?

    Resolution:
Though the Upgrade Express install_utree processes are continuing to run, I find that the drop of the abc01 user (near the beginning of the log) failed:

    aleph_admin@ALEPH20T> DROP USER abc01 CASCADE
    *
    ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01940: cannot drop a user that is currently connected

It seems that you (or some other user) was dlib-ed to abc01. I killed the base install_utree process and the (4) processes connected to it, and have restarted the install_utree step.

I now see the following (correct) lines in the log:

    aleph_admin@ALEPH20>
    User dropped.

    User created.

    Grant succeeded.
