    Unable to Edit or Add BIB Records

    Description:
    We are unable to edit / add records in the ALEPH Test Server.
    There appears to be no error in the logs relating to this problem.

    Resolution:
    In $alephe_root\pc_server_defaults, the PC server timeout is set to 10 seconds:
    setenv PC_SERVER_TIMEOUT 10

    This is a very small timeout value. Especially when you save large BIB records and many fix-routines are used in tab_fix, saving records in the GUI CAT may take more than 10 seconds.
    I have set your Test server PC_SERVER_TIMEOUT to 600 (=10 minutes).
    This is the value you are using on your Production server.
